Finally got a chance to stretch the barrel a bit.

The weather has been so crappy here the last few weeks. well today was pretty nice and I finally got a chance to stretch the MKII TR 22lr a bit today. I was able to take it to 175 yards and here were the best two groups wind was a little tricky..The black dots are 1".

I have a few more things Id like to do to this rifle but i think its pretty good now.

It was an used priority mail box.. LOL They can't stop you from using it after it has been through the system..

Good shooting!! As far as the box, I put a snuff can of tannerite and filled the void with flour a few weeks ago in one of these and needless to say evidence was destroyed!
Hows the bottom metal project coming along?

This shooting was done with the new bottom metal I received from you.. I have not found another bolt yet so I borrowed one from my 22mag till I can get another.

Guys,
If your looking for thick bottom metal for your savage get ahold of reeljob as he makes a nice one that is very good priced. Also ask him about the third bolt option I had him do for me.
