Finally got my Mcmillan A5 and Badger bottom metal. Very Pleased with the way the stock feels and looks. I had it inletted for the Badger bottom metal, and it fits perfectly. Torqued it down to 55in pounds and shot it today with expected great results. As it sits there is no pillars or bedding at all. I still have the pillars from the Badger bottom metal, but wonder if I should even use them? Seems to work great as it is. Wonder if someone could chime in with there experience of the combination. I cant find any info on the stock for Torque specifications, but I figured 55in pounds sounds about right.
