Man hounestly best thing is to just go there and try it.. Thats how you learn... The first time i went with my 338 lapua...i hit 1out of 30.... Painful. ?.but i figured out the stuff i need to get that far....

The base i had was a zero moa base. Switched to a 40 moa base
I was using factory ammo... Switched to reloads so it was what i wanted

But once u shoot that far and start getting good at it....1000 yards is simple lol...
