Recently finished up my first 'build'. I've been gathering parts for a little while, and was finally able to pull it all together:
Rem action chambered in .25-06 paired with a Shilen SS Match barrel on the business end;
Shilen trigger;
Badger throughout;
Mcmil stock;
Finished everything in teflon.
Still working up the end-load I want to use, but so far it's proven to be a solid shooter. Can't wait to get out and shoot it again.
