Never built a 7.62 shorty, I think I might have to. I have a pile of rounds just waiting for something to do

Keep them coming. I have a 16" .223 bolt gun that I need to capture some stills from as well.

It definitely lights up the night

I no longer have it and never had any pics but I had an AMT Long Slide in 30Carbine. That thing would put out a flash like was depicted in the old SGT Rock comic. Seemed like the blast was 4' long. Sort of a crap pistol but I wish I still had it, traded it for a washer and dryer early in my first marriage.

I do have some that flash quite a lot and will get some pics up.

Buddy of mine shooting a 9mm PCC barrel I gave him. 5.5" with a comp then an aluminum shroud after that, all pinned/welded to keep the man from shooting the neighborhood dogs.

My youngest shooting my 14" AK74.

On an old computer, I used to have photos from a night shoot we did. We got a few pics of an M44, and the fireball from that 7.62x54R was longer than the rifle was, lol.

I’ll have to poke around and see if I can find those pics!

A friend had one of those, the blast from it was obnoxious to say the least.
