fireforming with h110?

can i fireform with h110 in my new 243 ai? If so how much do I use?

H110 usually needs a full case in pistols to work well and there is usually the disclaimer about NOT dropping the listed charge too much. Stick with Unique or Bullseye or some fast pistol/shotgun powder. I form 243 AI without bullets and 10.0g Unique and topped with grits and a wad.

Why not do it the easy way. Just load up a normal .243 load and shoot it, not mess around with a pistol powder charge that may or may not do the job properly?

The cream o' wheat(or grits)/Unique method is cheap and saves throat wear. I have the aditional point of a .270" so I firefrom first then neck turn (first have to undersize the neck ... accuracy is very good but this is more work).

H110 is the same wc 296 and you dont need t vary on chargeweight you could have squib

I have tried 100 ways to fire form for AI.

But I have not tried H110.

Try it.
At least H110 smells good.
