Fires at 16 different food production plants in the last month...

While one may have been at a different date the fact that all these fire happening are far beyond coincidence. It certainly is not fake news.

If part of it is not true, and one of the plants definitely did not burn down in the last month, how many more also didn't? The one in garden city that caught on fire in 2019 that is listed among them is running at full capacity. So their fire does not matter for their current meat production whatsoever. So it is most certainly fake news. How much of it is fake is the question.

Just because it did not completely take it off line does not mean it’s not a possible attack. In fact one doesn’t indicate any type of attack at all. The numbers of these popping up combined with official statements made around the world combined with the actions of Russia and china moves this out of coincidence.

As always, this is my opinion. Feel free to carry on as all is normal if you choose.

And if we applied this logic to the last election, if even a slight bit of doubt, then it should never have been certified. Never mind the video evidence of downright cheating, covering windows for counts, dropping ballots off in the middle of the night and so on. The list I seen was recent. And again the Perdue farms was two nights ago. I’ll see if I can find the list again.

I believe one might need to look closer to home...I can tell you the gov thinks it’s terrorists. I think it’s something else. Of course, some might consider them terrorists.

I agree with that as well.

With so very much disinformation from every imaginable source - there's no way to know truth from fiction.
This is also true. Even if they were pulling this off, you’d never likely be able to prove it. Or it could literally be coincidence but that’s pretty unlikely.

I see another story where they listed a food pantry that caught on fire, and the one posted in this thread mentions a couple train cars that caught on fire. Another lists a farm processing area. I.E where the crops from a farm are cleaned after harvest. This news keeps looking faker and faker.

Even if it were true, how much would those twenty plants reduce capacity? For the general category of "food processing plant." I see the USDA lists 34,661 of them as of 2015.

Plenty of stuff out there to be keeping an eye on. This is fake outrage in my opinion.

100 percent agree. The 'plant' in New Hampshire that burned barely could process enough meat for the tiny town in New Hampshire it's located in. One of the plants that burned was a "Hot Pockets" plant. (Insert Hot Pocket jokes here.)

This is speculators and fear mongers trying to sell supplies or drive up prices because they've put hedge bets on them. And a compliant media is happy to feed the frenzy.

You don't need a food shortage. You need an appearance of a food shortage. And all the Karens hoard stuff to rot in their garage... and you get demand spikes, followed by crashes, followed by disruptions in supply chain. All great ways for scumbags on the Chicago Mercantile to make fortunes by sowing fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. FUD makes money.

Remember the 'Lumber Shortage' of 2 years ago? Oh god... Lumber! No houses. No picket fences. No hope. We're all going to die. Look who made fortunes off their hedges.

This is all spun up 'fake news' to push prices and help people make money with their crop investments.

Did fires happen? Probably. But given the number of food processing plants in the USA (and the catchall term is broad), that's probably background noise level. And how big a fire? Did the Hot Pockets plant burn to the ground and leave nothing but a smoking cellar? Or was there a flaming microwave in the employee break room and the media spins it into "Another fire at a food processing plant."

Don't believe anything they are telling you at this point. Not without analyzing it and asking the questions that the press should be asking. Once upon a time, the 'editor' would look at a reporters "Story" about food plants burning down and food shortages and ask questions like "Are the plants totally gone?" "How many plants are there total in US and how do these thirteen affect big picture." "How do 'these' plants create a food shortage (and if reporter mentions Hot Pockets, he'd have been fired."

That's not how the media works any more. They are about creating fear so you tune in again and again... to find out what you have to be prepared for or worry about. It's fear porn, plain and simple. Playing on the same emotions and synapses. And the media is making billions on it.

Don't let them. Anyone (well almost anyone) posting here is capable of higher thought and probably extremely good critical thinking. Put those skills to work and analyze this stuff. Don't go "13 plants burned, it's a food shortage and time to hoard rice." That's Karen level reactions. Think it through. Do numbers. Think who wins and loses. Think who is controlling what the "media" is printing. And what they want. Then you can make good decisions as to what is live and what is Memorex.

Besides, noone cares about food shortages or Ukraine or made-up viruses or gas prices or a demented fake President any more. As of 20 minutes ago, ABORTION!!!

Murder in our streets... Mostly Peaceful protests.... If you don't think that the SCOTUS leak was simply a "Release the thugs for spring" siren... well, analyze some more. It's gonna be Pussy Hats and BLM's burning everything they can get their hands on!

Bring it.

There is at least somewhat. A little logical deduction and research usually turns up some clues. OF the 20 listed maybe 15 are actually food processing plants, but even 200 would be less than 1% of the food processing plants in the U.S. I bet more were shut down in 2019-2020 for the fake pandemic. When the meat plants shut down during the fake pandemic, about 5 local places that I know of popped up and started selling meat.

I am about as worried as I was when Biden said it would be a winter of death and pain for the unvaccinated. There is probably some truth to what Biden says, like when he told us they had "the most comprehensive election fraud plan in history."

I don't disagree with the majority of your post, but I will note - hot/lean pockets have been generally unavailable anywhere here for quite some time. I used to eat their breakfast versions regularly, have not seen them in over a year. For a while they just left it as empty space, then they just filled that space with other products.

Also, there was no skim milk available at multiple stores for a while. Large sections of shelves and freezers are empty every time I shop.

I don't believe it's caused by a random few supplier issues. Something else is going on.

First off let me say gross, hot pockets are disgusting. I heard the hot pocket plant burnt on the outside, but was still ice cold in the middle. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

They shut down the entire world for a fake pandemic. There are lots of places still playing COVID theater. Yes there are going to be empty shelves as there have been since 2019.

I go buy groceries for my folks every weekend, and they live in the "retirement community" part of town. The influx of "snow birds" from Minnesota, North Dakota, and Canada basically double the population of the area for 3 or 4 months. Lots of places on the shelves were always empty. Now that it's hit 100* out - the snowbirds left and there are no blank shelves. At least around here - I believe it was more of a situation of limited storage for more product - and too many people buying the same stuff at the same time.

That may be the case where you are.

I shop at three different Krogers here in Metro Atlanta within 10-minutes drive and it's the same at them all for over a year.

Also two different Walmarts regularly, also within 10-minutes drive. Same situation there as well.

This is the kind of post I was after when originally posting this. Well stated.

The product is a joke.

Not to mention how many fires occur at food processing plant on a typical month?

Maybe sixteen is a big improvement.
This is something that is vastly overlooked ==> Perspective. What is "normal?" 16 sounds like a big number, but as SirhrMechanic pointed out- relative to the industry- 16 is insignificant. And, within those 16, some of them are insignificant in their own right. And, and, as was pointed out earlier in the thread, at least one (and probably more) of the fires are misattributed in their date of event.

This is all click bait "fake news."

It is like the studies that say "Doing X significantly increases your risk of Y." Well, if the risk of "Y" is 0.00000100%, and we define 'significant' the way that the authors define it (measurable), then your risk of Y from doing X might well be 0.00000101%...
(X is defined as some arbitrary risky behavior)
(Y is defined as the consequence of X)

Oh, by the way, 'fake news' isn't necessarily false. It is just construed to give a false image. Remember when the media was reporting on how much money the govt was spending on security for Trump? (I will concede without investigation that the numbers were accurate) They and the left went ape shit. What was not reported was that the same effort is given to the security for every president. It cost what it cost. But, they focused on the $ value (without context) for Trump to generate rage and indignation. THAT is fake news. Not lies, per se, but 1/2 truths put together to sway a manipulatable audience.

Clearly, the Left isn't the only side that gets caught up in obsessing over The Current Thing(tm).

We are currently under attack on multiple fronts and the sheeple bury their heads while saying “ It can’t happen here. “
The US has been under attack in some form or another since we became a super power following WWII--this is nothing more than another fear-based tactic to disseminate disinformation to the masses. While the individual events may not be fake, the fact that they were likely taken out of their original contexts and grouped into another causes the content and validity of the reporting to be quite suspect.

Take a deep breath and enjoy the day that is before you in the here and now!

If you think what is happening on a global scale is normal and has been happening since ww2 perhaps you should take a closer look. What is taking place is far from it.

Maybe the problem is that too many people are looking too closely and are not able to see the bigger picture...you know, that forest for the trees saying? We've all been here before...

I’m saying it’s far bigger than factory fires.

Look globally at supply/food chains. The Ukraine/Russia war is causing ripples world wide. China is intentionally disrupting the US economy through shutdowns etc….

Look at who the biggest producers of wheat are in the world.

that's less scary than farmers having to destroy there own crops cause they can't ship it all while shelves at stores are getting more and more bare . Now the restaurants are burning 😱 it's a sign by god about the end of days lol just need fish ( totally edible fish to fall from they sky and the sea's to turn to blood ( ques the scary music ) or a bunch of old Italian mob guys going for an insurance scam .

We are one of the biggest wheat producers at number 5. The U.S would produce a lot more wheat if the government wasn't paying so well to grow corn.

And here is our production vs consumption despite that. We use around 31,000 tons of wheat per year, and produced almost 45,000,000 thats millions of tons of wheat in the 21/22 year. Tell me again how ukraine will cause a food shortage.

Said.

Also our government pays us not to grow crops (crp).
And if that doesn't pay enough you could now just grow weed since that appears acceptable in many states?

However I think smoking that shit would raise food consumption eventially needing more crops to balance it out?

So cola companies put salt in soda pop to make you thirsty, and it's legal. What happens when Taco bell slips pot in thier burritos?

No wonder they won the food wars.

Meh. Whatever.

Russia and Ukraine are like (1)and (5)for wheat. Top producer of fertilizer I think is Russia (1) and China (2). Russia stated they will not be selling to “hostile countries”. We produce little fertilizer in the US, even less with less nat gas production. You can have all the space you want to grow stuff but if you can’t get the supplements you need or the cost to produce is not profitable then It doesn’t matter. Now throw in drought conditions across the country etc.

Many farmers have already said they are not going to plant corn due to its nitrogen consumption.

Does that mean there will be no corn. No. Are there mandated usages for ethanol. Yes.

Etc etc etc.

Like I said. It’s not a one piece puzzle.

But whatever makes you happy. Continue on.

Edit for more accuracy.
