A demo spendex is truly epic though. Mushroom cloud epic. I saw a 1kt conventional explosion on TV once; our pile wasn't quite that big but it was almost that big. If you told me our blast was in the top ten non-nuclear single shots, I'd believe it. It was raining dirt and rocks over a mile away and you could see the shockwave race across the desert floor. I swear it looked like a nuclear blast without the light.
Oh, my army buddy? Yeah, somehow we got split up despite being in the same team. He got stuck doing a grenade spendex. NOT fun. He literally could not lift his arms the next day. Said he threw hundreds and they made sure each one counted.
