First 100 yard group....

I made it out to the range for about 10 minutes today, and after zeroing my scope, this is the results. This is actually the second group, the first is covered by the sticker top left, (which was at 50

. I know it is low, but I had to leave the range in a bit of a hurry. I am excited, I know it's not a 500 yard X, but this is the best group I have shot to date with anything higher than .17hmr, and I wasn't really trying hard.

Specs on rifle?

You might want to get in the habbit of shooting 5 shot groups for testing, tends to show what the rifle and shooter can achive better....then shoot 10 shot groups that all touch!!!!

I was using 168 Federal SMK's. I got some for 19.99 a box, so I figured I try them since they get rave reviews here. I also just ordered some Horny-day 168 AMAX's to see how they do.

The Federal 168 and 175s shot real good out of my 5r and my custom 308, for some reason neither one of my guns liked the Amax's. The Federal brass has also been great to reload with so far to.
