First .260

After reading all of the good things about the 6.5s I decided I needed to give one a try. I have always been a .308 shooter but the slightly flatter trajectory and lighter recoil seems appealing. It is a trued stainless 700 with a 24" MTU contour barrel.

Can't wait to take it out and send some 140Amax's down range.

Be carefully you may not want to shoot your .308 much after a day behind a 260.

Took a few minutes and went outside to at least get it shooting on paper with some 120grn Federal factory ammo

4 shot group .... 4 rounds is all I had left for a group. I honestly didn't expect the hunting ammo to shoot anywhere near this well.

Very nice. I too am new to the .260 and really enjoying it. I should have gone this route 2 years ago when I first got the bug.

Like it was mentioned above, your .308 will pretty much collect dust now.
