Wolf Precision's First Annual Practical Tactical Shooters' Challenge.

October 2, 2011. Multiple firing positions, stages and scenarios to test your skills in both precision and long range shooting. Designed to test your overall abilities as a shooter and the use of your equipment. Just miles from Shanksville, PA this is shot on the same farm we teach our Long Range Shooting School. Limited to 25 shooters. Fee is $125.00 with proceeds going to the range and new equipment for the school. Please include email address for equipment lists, directions and updates.

This match is designed to test your overall shooting abilities. It will have stages that will be similar to those you might find in a tactical match and stages that will represent things you will run into while hunting. This match is designed to test the shooters skill, his equipment and his ability to use both under some pressure.

<span style="font-weight: bold">Details:</span>
October 2nd, safety briefing at 9:00am and match starts at 9:30am.
Round Count: 85 rounds (bring extra to shoot some steel when match is finished).
Some targets may be beyond 1000 yards (depending on crops).
Multiple stages from different firing positions so bi-pod, shooting sticks and sling might come in handy (things you would take on your average hunting trip).
There will be a milling portion, we will have spotting scopes with reticles if your rifle does not have one.
We will be moving to a couple locations so a backpack for your gear might help (nothing real strenuous).
Their will be a hold over only stage, so be familiar with your reticle.
Some stages will be timed.
Bring food, water, rain gear, and sunscreen if needed.
Eye and ear protection.
If your rifle feeds magazines (not required for the match) you might want to bring an extra one.
Laser rangefinders are allowed.
No rifles out until after safety briefing.
No side arms or pistols (there are no stages for these at the match).

Money Order or checks to: Wolf Precision 220 Alois St. Johnstown, PA 15904

Re: First Annual Practical Tactical Shooters Challenge

We are still setting up the course of fire. Right now round count will be around 80 rounds, but bring 100 to be safe. Range finders are fine but there will be a mil stage. We will have a spotting scope with a mil reticle for use. More details will follow.

Thanks Hank for the Link,
