Well I am working on my first AR15 build. I thought it was about time since this election is looking........aweful. Here's what I have so far.

DPMS Complete Lower
CMT / STAG Upper
CMT Bolt Assembly
ERGO grip w/ Palm Shelf
Badger Ordnance Tactical Latch
LaRue 12" Tactical Handguard
LaRue Low-profile gas block
MagPul PRS stock

Waiting on Douglas 18" Stainless Steel SPR barrel w/ 1:8 twist, m4 ramps and matched bolt from Compass Lake Engineering and my tools from Bushmaster. More pics to follow in the coming weeks!

Tell me about it. I just added up what I've spent so far and was not very happy. I almost wished I had sprung for a nice .308 build for the same cost. However I don't think I'll find a range in the area that something that large would be necessary.

Re: First Build **In progress**

It's a sickness and you can never stop. Just started an SPR myself, Noveske Stripped lower, Colt lower parts kit, SSA trigger, Magpul PRS stock, magpul MIAD grip and trigger guard. Being topped off with a Larue 18" stealth upper with 13.2" rail and Surefire MB556K brake.

Re: First Build **In progress**

I started with one on the suggestion of a buddy, I'm now on number 7 each a little different from the last. The only problem is they keep getting more expensive! But they are all soo much fun!

Isn't that the truth.
