Gentlemen,
Today our group, Aggie 3-Gunners, became an officially recognized student organization. This is a momentous occasion as <span style="font-weight: bold">we are the first and only collegiate 3-gun/multi-gun team in the country.</span>
I will ensure that this organization is a success and in the process I hope to not only bring vast numbers of young people into the sport, but also to desensitize our college campus to AR’s and guns in general, showing that good, law abiding citizens use these tools in a safe and legitimate sport.
We need your help though to make this a success. As you can see below, we only lack one requirement to become fully recognized, an insurance policy to cover our organization and its members. <span style="text-decoration: underline">If we do not raise enough funds to procure this within 40 days, our group will no longer exist.</span>
The insurance policy is through the NRA and Lockton Risk—I can send anyone a copy of the policy that requests it. It will cost us $708.52 annually.
We are setting our fundraising goal for $2000 to cover this policy and to buy tabling and advertising materials and uniforms/t-shirts to get our group off the ground.
