First Custom Rifle

Earlier this year I decided I wanted a custom rifle in a caliber I already owned for long range shooting. So I took my Remington 700 VSSF in 308 to Ross Precision Gunworks in Keller TX. Here is a list of things that went into the build.

Trued Actions
Krieger 5r barrel chambered in 308
Oversized barrel lug
Timney 510
Bolt Knob
AICS Chasis (purchased on the hide)
EDW HD 20MOA Rail (previously on rifle)
Spuhr SP-4002 mount
RPG Muzzle Break threaded for suppressor (currently waiting on paperwork)
Barrel and Action ceracoated in sniper grey
Steiner 5x25 MSR (purchased on the hide)

I just received the finished product last night and so far happy with the results. Hope to be able to take it out this weekend and see how it shoots.

So far I like it. As I haven't had any time with it at the range other hide members may be better suited to answer any specific questions you may have.

Nice stick. Chuck dose some real nice work. He built me a light weight 308 last year.
