Archery season opened in Ct on the 15th. Went out this afternoon...absolutly beautiful day...sunny..very little wind...this guy was running with a doe and stopped at 22 yds presenting only a neck shot. Think I clipped the spine as he went to ground right quick...

Love the big game pics, our deer season for archery started on the 1st but seeing I'm going with a rifle tag this year I don't get to take a poke at them until the 17th of Oct.

Congrats, maybe we will get to bowhunt down here in the south if it ever quits raining.

Ct is great for archery..4 tags (not counting free replacement antlerless tags if hunting in some areas)..with rifle and muzzleloader we are good to the end of Dec (end of Jan in some areas)...lots and lots of deer in the lower portion of the state ...

Shockwave 100 grains simply because I have them...once they are done I am switching to 100 grn Spitfires...

i got this one on the 7th of sept. 300 yds in a cut down.

since then i have been on a mission killing nany does. the rut is about to kick in so i will let them be until nov.
