Hey guys, finally got bored and broke down and bought some krylon. I wanted to try it out on something cheap to see how it would turn out, so i gave it a go on my 597 stock. whaddaya think?

How well is the krylon holding up for you guys compared to something more expensive like duracoat or gunkote?

Looks awesome. Great job. I've never used duracoat or gunkote, but my krylon paint job is holding up very well. It has only been on there a few months but has been on an elk hunt, sliding in and out of a leather scabbard while on a mule. The rifle gets used quite a bit and still looks good. I'm very happy with the krylon.

Well done! I have been spraying a few coats of flat clear over the Krylon to help with wear, so far so good.
