This is my first time doing a load development, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to gather from this data.

Cartridge: 6 CM
Brass: Peterson
Primer: Federal 210M
Bullet: Berger 109 Long Range hybrid
Powder: H4350

Based on the data in the spreadsheet should I

A) Pursue loads 41.4-41.7 because the had a similar POI
B) Pursue loads 40.2-40.5 because of the low SD
C) Pursue loads 39.9-40.2 because of the similar average velocity

I don't focus on just any one of these. For me, it's about ES, SD and Group Size, and . . . repeatability.

If this is just the first round, now's the time to look closer at the one's in the area of good results and test them to confirm whether they still give you such results. That's how science work . . . repeating tests in order to get the same results so that you can actually draw a valid conclusion.

So . . . I'd test your 40.2 gr charge and some on each side of it to see if the great number continue.

Based on ES and group size in the spreadsheet, I'd say pick any of those. Pick your speed and go.

How many shots per charge weight is this based on?

Thanks for the help, I was thinking the same thing since those groups were so different from the rest of the data.

Flip a coin 40.2/ 40.5.......and pay close attention to loading habits.3050 fps is a nice place to be.....at least for me it is.
Question: What does your deprimed primer pockets look like in the bottom of highr es/sd brass? .. ...3 distinct pieces of a pie ?.....if not ....make that happen and see if es/sd will come down.....if yoy want to run those speeds.
Consistent loading habits are your friend for low es/sd.

Edit: hope that makes sense and best of luck

If you’re confident in your loading a brass prep that you feel the chrono numbers adequately represent what’s going on.....

40.2 in summer and 40.3 in wonder (or just pick one of the two for entire year). Do seating depth test and done.

39.9 - 40.2 . If it were me and do test seating depth test. I went from -.010 to -.090 in .020 steps. -.050 grouped best for me. SD 4 ES 9. Most important it performed great at distance out to 1200.
