Hunting & Fishing First long beard with a bow

Well done, an achievement for sure. I took my first tom with a bow nearly 30 years ago and can remember every detail of the hunt.
I am just gonna do a fan mount of it. I tried to do a sneak on some behind a fan a couple days before and it worked like a charm except for one small detail I never planned on. When I drew my bow and went to try and anchor the arrow, I had no anchor point because of the face mask. So I had to go to face paint for the next hunt and then they were wise to the fan sneak. This bird I actually called in and kept ranging him as he was walking to me and when he got to 72 yards, I think he busted me ranging him because he stopped and threw his head up and acted really alert. So I went ahead and dialed to 72 yards, drew my bow behind cover and then eased out and released the arrow. It was a perfect shot. I started practicing at 80 and 100 yards years ago and never even shoot at a target inside 80 anymore. I started that after seeing some Cameron Hanes videos. I have taken over 30 deer with a bow so I am a decent bow hunter. Appreciate the congrats guys!

@tlsmith22 you’ve definitely challenged me up my practice range.
When I first started at 80, i could hit maybe 4 out of 10 arrows in the vitals on a 3D target and before loNF it was automatic and I was shooting really nice groups at 80. When I backed up to 100 I thought it would be a cake walk, NOT, It was 3 or 4 out of 10 again to start off. Then the same deal, it becomes automatic. Makes u pay attn to your form for sure.
Congrats! Although I used to bowhunt and shoot my bow very often I never had the desire to turkey hunt with a bow. They get me too worked up - like buck fever! Deer do t do that to me but turkeys do!??
