Okay, so I bought my first gun to dip my toes into the long range shooting. I ordered a Remington 700 AAC 6.5cm with the heavy barrel and a camo LRC stock from Stocky's. I just need help choosing a rail and 30mm rings. I want something dependable that won't need to be replaced in the near future but nothing that will break the bank.

I know many of y'all are running 5-15k rifles but I'm hoping your suggestions might save me some money in the long run. Thanks in advance.

I just went with aluminum base and metal rings. The whole set up cost me 125..... A lot of rings run more than that. Unless you are in competition or beating up your rifle, the lower cost option will work. Torqued to the right specs I have never had a problem.
