First rifle build project. Opinions please

I have finally assembled all the components that I need for my rifle build that I have been planning for the last two months. here is a components list that I have.

AICS 1.5
Nightforce 3.5-15x50 HS ZS
Remington 700 ADL
Timney trigger
Krieger 1-10 5R standard palma (going to get cut 24') 30 cal (.308 build)
Seekins 30mm Rings
Seekins 20 MOA Short action base
Atlas BT-10 w/ spigot adapter

Everything is brand new and believe it or not but because I took my time waiting for deals to show up I paid just under 2900 for all the components. Everything minus the scope is NIB but the scope was used for one show as a demo and has zero scratches or damage and might as well be brand new.

I'm picking it up tomorrow!

that sounds like a nice build. i don't know what your plans are for the system so i cannot tell if 26" is appropriate for your needs. i can reach 1000 yards easily with a 20" shooting 175s and the shorter barrel is easier to deal with in positions other than prone. just a thought - not trying to change your mind.

Sound like a great parts list! Good job of waiting for parts! I wished I had that in me. I always want what I want yesterday! Looks like I have some growing up to to do still? Lol

Sounds like a great quailty build list. And X2 on the waiting for parts. Not sure how much money I would have extra if I could wait and not pay more to have it now. Keep posted on the build.

Well as anybody in the military knows, things change. Got put on duty last minute this morning and delayed my trip until tomorrow.... No shooting for 2 weeks now, have a long field op coming up monday....
