First time long range shooting

Well I got to shoot a fclass full bore style practice today. I found a great group of guys Desertsharpshooters online. Sent Rick an email and got invited to practice. We shot from 300-600-1000yds I was so happy to even hit the target at a 1000 with both my rifles (the farthest I've shot was 200).I would not have been able to connect if it weren't for Steve Rocky and I think Gary thanks guys. Here are a few pics from the 1000yd line. And O yea I'm hooked.

I was shooting my .308 Armalite AR10 with 22'' barrel Bushnell Elite tactical 2.5x16, and my Remington 700 spss .308 has bedded Bell and Carlson stock Wyats mag kit Atlas bipod Weaver 20moa base Weaver rings and the SIghtron SIII 8x32FFP scope. I shot 155gr palma match bullets with 42.5 gr Varget in mil Brass they did good even at a 1000 but there wasn't much wind.

Ben Avery North Phoenix It's only 10 min from my house but you have to be part of a club or participate in matches to shoot on there long range. That is why I contacted desertsharpsooters.
