Pretty happy with it for my first crack. Still need to clear coat it but I'm happy with it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9nnbky8wbr0hebf/VID_20200412_152529.mp4?dl=0

I will post pics as I went.
Well maybe I won't. Took video and not pics.
Anyways, I started with green, using a sponge cut in strips. I'd spray a puddle on a cardboard box the dab it and dab on the stock in the pattern I wanted. It took several coats to cover the black.
Then I went and covered alot more with the off white again in the same kinda stripe pattern. Then hit it with the gray and followed it up with black over the black stock and white/gray till I got the look I was going for.
I found that the smaller the sponge I was using the easier it was to get what I was looking for.

Good on you for adding graffiti to that which means much to you.

Felt weird when I decided to wing it on a $3000 scope and $4000 rifle combo.

I used an airbrush that I had bought to paint models when I was a kid.

I actually never used that air brush when I was a kid, having gone into the USMC prior to finish the big tank I had bought it for.

Yet 30 years after having bought it I found it in the attic to paint my rifle.

Buying a swing set to hang it from was a pain in the ass but otherwise all went well.
