I hadn't heard FFDP until someone posted the Youtube video for their Bad Company cover. They're a great band. They have a good solid sound and they're fun to listen to without getting repetitive. I can't remember which, but one of their videos shows them on their USO tour. Pretty fun watching all the soldiers unwind in the mosh pit.

These guys flat out kick ass. Nothing is better live then when they do "No One Gets Left Behind" with the stage lined with Marines.

Music is more modern.
Has different meaning now.

Johnny Cash did some great covers at the end of his life.
Having him cover Soundgarden and Metallica was priceless.
Sometimes a sound track is all you have.
