Rifle Scopes Fixed power MRAD Scope

Swfa is about the only ones I've seen. I have a couple 16x that are decent. The internet had alot of comments about the 16x being brighter and clearer than the 20x. I have one on a 50BMG and one on an M1A. Swfa was priced right and 50BMG rated.

I've been down this road before too. Have a SS 6x on a CZ .22 & a SS 10x HD on a backup .308, I think that's about your only option. Seems like Schmidt will occasionally do a run of 10x's that I'm sure are nice, but I was really looking for something more in the $1,000 range.

Schmidt Bender and US Optics both make one.

Euro Optic has the SB 10x42 in stock and also sells The US Optics FDN FX10, but it is on backorder several months out.

The older US Optics ST10 was a great scope. I have one. You can occasionally find the USO ST10 or the SB PM2 10x42 on eBay for around 1500$.

For under $1000, the only options are IOR and SWFA. IOR isn't well liked here, but the SWFA is a solid budget 10x.

Also worth mentioning is the Sightron S3
10x42. At 600$, it's a decent scope. I don't think it comes with mil turrets though. It's an old style mil reticle, moa turret scope.

Also, it's worth checking the PX occasionally. An older ST10 popped up for sale a couple months ago. He could still have it.

You know of any without turrets but a reticle that can be used for your holds?

like the Vortex EBR seems to have enough useable marks on the reticle that I generally don’t need to use the turrets.

I am trying to save weight for a hunting rifle, but still have the ability to shoot further out (400-500 yards))

In the good old days I used to switch between a 4x german post for hunting & a 10x for steel on the same rifle.

Then, I compromised, bought a 3-12x56 with a heavy old school mildot (visible at 3x if the battery died), & called it a day.
