Who makes a good fixed six power scope. I am looking for something comparable to the IOR fixed six. Must have external turrets or a ballistic retical of some sort. Would like to find something american made, may have to settle for a fixed 10x. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Brandon

Re: Fixed Six Power?

USO looks the most likely for me. I have 3 nightforces that I really like, but would like to try fixed six on a AR. What knobs would be best? I know the EREK ones are probably the best, are they worth the extra money?

If you are willing to buy a used scope then there are a few good ones out there, but it may take some time to find one. Burris made one with TT's at one time-not sure if they still make it or not. I have a fantastic 6X Zeiss that is 30 years old, but looks and works like a new scope(not for sale). Meopta makes a good looking 7X scope. Just start shopping you will find one out there. Tom.

Re: Fixed Six Power?

Meopta does make some nice glass, I will check it out. Not real thrilled with support and service from IOR. Kinda goes against my policy of buying in the USA. I am in the manf. business and I try to support the folks here in the states if they offer a comparible product. Thanks Brandon

Re: Fixed Six Power?

Both Zeiss and S&B makes 6x42 scopes that can be fitted with .1mil/1cm click target turrets. Zeiss would be my choice if they can fit the new lockable targetturrets to the 6x42. USO ST-6 is also a strong contender.
