Hi,

So I have been measuring all my 308 brass with a RCBS person mic to ensure my resized headspaces are a uniform -0.001 less than a factory once fired cartridge. My RCBS measures the once fired brass at -0.0005" and factory headspace at -0.002" My problem is that my resizing die struggles to get below 0.000 which chambers tight on the occasional round (maybe shell plate variations?). Should I shave one to two thou off the bottom of my die?

Also , I realize that the person mic should be calibrated to SAAMI spec but I don't really trust its readings, I should invest in some go gauges.

In case anyone is wondering my rifle is a TRG-22. I bought it second hand from another owner
