OK so I recently purchased a KX3 from an individual. My plan was to put it on an 5.56 SBR upper. When I look at the inside of the KX3 it screams .30 cal. does anyone know if the bore for the Pig should be this big or is it only one size? OR the difference only is the thread pitch ?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Why did you buy the PIG? The only thing they are good for is directing sound forward and adding a ton of weight to your muzzle! They are NOT flash hiders or comps. Why invest in an SBR and make it longer and heavier than it has to be?? To answer your question... Don't worry about the exit hole diameter... It could be .25 or 1.25 and not make a difference. GH

It does a good job of directing the sound forward. That's why I bought mine to mount on a 8" 6.8 SBR barrel. I served before we figured out that hearing protection might be a good idea. I am more sound sensitive than recoil sensitive even with plugs and muffs.
