Flex in fore end under recoil?

Hi guys, i have a Tikka T3x Tac A1 .308win.

I am about to get a new scope on it, and the Spuhr mount i have chosed for it will give 4 to 5mm clearance from the fore end rail.

Thats is a little lower than im used too. My question is, if there is any flex under recoil in a forend like the one on a Tikka T3x Tac A1? Or if the flex is only going on with the barrel itself.

If your handguard is flexing under recoil enough to contact your scope with 4-5mm of clearance, something is horribly wrong.

Thanks for the replys I dont have alot of experince with scope mounted under 10mm clearance ( wich i know is a bit much ). I know the scope itself and barrel can flex a little under recoil, but i dont know about the fore end. So if the scope flex a little, and the fore end to, i wasent sure if i was good to go, or if i should find a mount that gets the scope a little higher.
