I did a little reading about this on a couple sites. I can't get a dollar bill even started down the channel between the barrel. I read that this stock has "pads" at the end of the fore-end that are supposed to contact the stock because it isn't rigid enough to free float. Is that true? I haven't ran into this problem with previous rifles. I plan to replace the stock eventually, probably spring time, but for now I'd like to stick with this one. Can/should it be floated?
