So I've never had a gun with flush cups before, but it sounds cool how you can switch the sling to various locations. The only thing I wonder about is can the release button on the swivel get bumped and cause the gun to fall while you're carrying it? Are they really made to carry a gun 15 miles a day hunting, or are they more for using the sling to aid in various shooting positions?

Is there anybody out there who makes a swivel that is a little harder to release/less accident prone?

Thanks!

Industry standard for push button/QD release is the GroveTec push button.

From our site: "Featuring extremely tight machining tolerances and pull testing to over 300-pounds of pressure, this heavy-duty swivel set utilizes a non-glare manganese phosphate finish to eliminate reflection. These are the swivels used on TAB, TIS, HTI, RO, SAP, Hogsaddle and Triad brand slings. These are NOT the made in China ones from Uncle Mike's/Blackhawk."

As long as the bushing is properly installed in your stock, you should be good to go.

I agree with the above. Be sure to get the limited rotation flush cups if you can. It'll keep your sling from getting twisted. I've hunted with the flush cups and never had an accidental release. Never had it happen during a match either.

Yep. Mine have gone in and out of vehicles, up and down I don't know how many stands, and have held some heavy rifles while slung across my back on ATVs and motorcycles. I trust them.
