flush mount dbm for fn action ?

im building a 6.5cm and am looking for a quality dbm system for my fn action .i dont care for the fn mag system ,i would really like something similar to the hs system. it needs to have a flush mount mag, as this rifle will see the woods more often than the range .any suggestions would be appreciated . thanks adam

your supposed to to tell me theres 3 avail ,im just an idiot for not finding them myself , lol . maybe i will have to go with the hinged floorplate for hunting and see if i can get a drop in dbm system for tacical shoots later . unless or course someone were to start making a flushmout system . i volunteer to try any such experimental products .

Use the CDI bm and a 5 rd mag. Its the best you can do. Otherwise the factory HFP is a darned stout piece--made by Williams IIRC.

the factory dbm is stout . but didnt cycle very well with my 6.5 cm .it was also a pita to load , because the 6.5case is shorter than the 308.i may look into getting 2 sets of bottom metal and switching them as needed .

scout , thanks for recomending ushandgunner ,here on the hide to instal bolt knobs on fn bolts , i just got 2 back and they look great .

I am assuming your FN is a .308. Call Jeff at CDI and send your rifle to him to have his bottom metal installed with AI mags. Which 6.5 are you looking to build?

i do like the cdi but the mags are to big and loud for my hunting . would be great for any kind of target shooting though .
rifle will be 6.5 cm [creedmoor].i think im going with the hinged floor plate for now , perhaps an upgrade later .
