Is it possible to open the boltface up on a FN PBR .308 for the WSM cartridges, someone here on the hide told me the WSM and standard short actions where the same just different bolts. I called FN and tried to buy a WSM Bolt but that was a waste of time. Anyways is it possible? I would really like to build a 7wsm.

yes most smiths can do it, i have inquired about this before the boys at benchmark barrels told me they could do it for me if it wanted.

Here ya go....
I also replaced the bolt face and machined the firing pin so that it's guided and stops at the front instead of the back of the firing pin.
