I bought a like new FNH 308 rifle off hear that has the Hogue stock on it. I really like the stock and bought the rifle to shoot some at the club and load some lite weight bullets and use to coyote hunt with. Seems like a good sturdy stock and from what i have been told they have the bedding block and a arm that runs up the forarm for stiffness and to help with any flex. My intentions are to rebarrel it down the road in a different caliber more suited for the type hunting i do. If i decide to keep the stock i am wondering if anybody here has had a camo paint job done to it with cerekote. Will cerekoting work well and hold up on a rubber stock?

It'd have to be the Cerakote air dry, the rubber on the stock would melt if you tried to bake it to cure regular cerakote. I'd stick with Krylon if it were mine.
