I am thinking I want to have my FN SPR A5M re barreled into 6mm creedmore, but I don't know where to start.

Does any one know who could provide me with a 6mm CM barrel for my FN SPR? What twist would be needed to shoot the 105 or 115 gr bullets?

Who would you suggest do the work on an FN?

Thanks,
Zach

You looking for a prefit style barrel in 6 Creed or you wanting a smith to chamber one?

I know Mark at SAC use to do a lot of FN action truing and re-barrels. Have him spin you up a Bartlien and melonite that bad boy. My SAC 6.5 Creed continues to impress me, I'm glad I didn't sell it a few weeks ago.

1-8 twist or 1-7.5 will work fine, but I would skip the 115's and just run the 105 Hybrids. Many swear by the Dtacs but from all my research when I was looking at going 6 Creed is the Dtacs can be finicky to load for, compared to the 105 Hybrids or Amax's.

Mark can most definitely fit your SPR to a 6mm. He just rebarreled my SPR to 6.5x47. 6mm is no different. 8 twist should be able to handle anything, although berger recommends a 7 twist for 115 gr bullets.

AJ Brown, Bloomfield, IN. Alan built me 3 customs on FN SPR actions, a 308, a 243 and a 7wsm. All three were phenomenal and his prices were very reasonable. 7.5 twist for the 115s.

APA in Jefferson, GA. Probably an hour drive from where you is.
Rebarreling an SPR can be done by any competent smith, no different than a Winchester 70.
I had one barreled to a 7wsm. APA happened to do it. It's a hammer.
