Folding stock options for Rem 700?

Hey guys, I did some searching here and on the net and haven't come up with much.

I'd like to get a folding stock for a 700 I have (308). I travel quite a bit and folding guns just makes things easier.

So far I have only found the AICS and a few offerings from Choate, though I am having some trouble figuring out what Choate's current offerings are. What's the consensus on Choate? They look and feel a bit cheesy, IMO.

The AICS is ideal, but I want to explore all my options before dropping that kind of coin. I recall seeing another folding stock option at SHOT this year, but I don't remember the company who had it.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

I have never used one but i handled a savage that was in one.Personally i didnt like it the butt stock had quite a bit of wiggle in it.The thing locked tight when it was folded up.fwiw i just didnt think it was worth the money.

HS Precision pst117(LA) or pst122(SA) is pretty cool until you see the price tag.....$1200 with no DBM. Sure makes the AICS with DBM seem like a great deal!

McMillan has a folder stock called the B.A.F. for bolt action rifles that will be on the website to view soon. It looks exactly like the MFS-14 stock that is currently on our website.

I have an AICS 2.0 folder and find it to be very sturdy and also have the added bonus of having a mag well for magazines. Can't say it is the lightest stock but it is sturdy.

That sounds like it'll be pretty cool
