Rifle Scopes Follow up on a SOCOM scope question

I have a chance at buying a 2X Leupold, FX-II 2x20mm pistol scope at a very good price.
What are your thoughts on running it on the SOCOM?

I ran a burris pistol scope on my socom. It seemed to work very well with the extended eye relief. I have since dropped the barreled action into a troy mcs and moved to a nightforce 2.5-10. Steadying the extended eye relief of a pistol scopes tended to cause a bit of eye strain over the course of a day of shooting. 2 cents.
