I've cleared this with LowLight to run.
With my business, I am currently doing a large survey questionnaire of sorts of current and former military personal on the field gear they are/have using.
In particular I am looking at webbing/chest rigs/medium packs and large packs.
I am going to the next phase with my business of going after military contracts and would like to design my gear to the standards that soldiers want rather then a random off the shelf design.
It's the little details I am chasing that make or break a pack in the real world and in the field.
This questionnaire is completely anonymous in it. It does have some baseline questions on the first page about your military experience/rank etc but these are totally optional. The body size/shape question is just so I can get an idea on the average body sizes so I can make things like shoulder strap width adjustable to suit different neck/shoulder sizes.
This multipage form is in PDF format so you can print it out and complete at your leisure and email back to the address listed in the instructions.
Fill it out fully or only fill out one part of it, completely up to you.
If you could please share it around with your friends would be greatly appreciated because the more detail and personal views I can get back on this, really helps me to design the gear to what YOU want.
The paper is written for the Australian market, but I figure why not extend it to other countries such as the US so I can get a wide variety of feedback.
