    Virginia
I hope we don’t start paying people to move here......it’s too darn crowded now! memtb

About as much as Lincoln/Marquette Kansas lol.

But Kansas does have very pro gun laws and is way out in front of places like Texas. Texas gets the press, as it should given its weight. But...

Texas is about a dozen illegal voters from blue. Just like my home state, Virginia, the vote is biased to the high density cities. We have 100 out of 105 counties declared 2A sanctuaries but the vote went to Joey.

    Sad.

I had to look up where Winchester is, here in Gillette, left coasters are snatching half million dollar houses sight unseen and writing checks for them. I am lost as to the attraction to this town. You better hope and pray is all I have.

The attraction is.....it’s not a leftest, blue state! But, have no fear.....their politics will arrive in the moving van with their belongings! 🤬 memtb

No doubt all of these locales are simply flush with surplus revenue, are out of ideas on how to put to use, and veritable social, geographic, economic garden spots. Naw, there's no devil in the details. Yea, I'll rip out by the roots all that's near, dear and familiar for some paper route scratch.

Tulsa kind of surprises me. That's a pretty big city and I can only assume there's a decent amount of stuff going on there to keep you entertained. 10 grand is a pretty enticing deal. I wonder if you have to stay for a certain period of time or can just put in the year and move out.

I thought Russellville was at one time
Never heard about that ? They tried to get a casino there but the powers that be keep stalling. I think the 10k offer was for Northwest Arkansas ? Lots of boomers retired up there and are dying off.
It was in Bentonville , offered a road or mountain bike to boot. Still haven’t heard if anyone did it ?

Couple of towns in Arkansas used to do the same thing I believe
I think NWA is offering money right now. Not that I want anything to do with little Dallas (Fayetteville) these days. Now if Nighthawk was to call and offer me a machining job (an actual possibility) I would have a hard decision to make.

I just remember reading about petit jean mountain so maybe that was how I remember it. Guess the mountain bike thing would be relevant to that area

Is Carmel by the Sea, Monterey Cty, CA on the list? Wouldn't mind moving there if they paid me...
    Gorgeous area but its...

    Well you know...

    California. Liberal. Ken and Karen.

Im sure theyd love you touching off a few rounds with your modded 308.

Lots of jobs up there. It is moderate compared to elsewhere in Arkansas. Waltons have spent a bunch of $$ on bike trails. Good write off tax wise I reckon.

Yes, it was NW Arkansas. It really didn't have anything to do with people leaving the area or dying... yet.

See, NWA has a very high population of H1B workers that support the IT departments of Wal-Mart, Tyson, and J.B. Hunt. Trump was about to send tens of thousands of those people home. Those three companies were in panic mode trying to shore up replacements.

Biden is in office now, though, so you can bet they give zero shits. They own that bitch and so all the H1B workers will stay and they've surely started firing off all the American workers they'd been hiring in case the H1B workers got sent home.

Try NY on for size. While the whining shitbag lib politicians are strangling businesses with horseshit rules of operation, they're happy to hand out money, paid by the very subjects they're fucking over, they're seeing aside MILLIONS for illegals breaking into our country. Do yeah, they're paying, and paying quite well.

I can be paid to live in Baltimore?! Sign me up!

Berryville , home of Bill Wilson & Nighthawk wouldn’t be a bad place to live & work.
So far the chicken industry has stayed away from there ....so far.

The influx of Hispanics in NWA and Central Arkansas has made it into North Mexico. Most are here illegally to work long hours for less $$ than Anglos. They get their kids educated for free , Tyson will shelter and hide them as long as they tow the line. As a rule the Hispanics don’t like us at all. They send most of their earnings back to Mexico , El Salvador etc. They seldom say hello , or make eye contact.

They are allowed to buy houses here , then they won’t pay property taxes. They purchase most of their goods from either Hispanic vendors out of Texas , or Walmart.
In the late 80’s my AO was 95% Anglos , today it’s over 50% Hispanics 🙈

"They are allowed to buy houses here , then they won’t pay property taxes."

I really would like to understand how this works. To buy my home, I did everything but get waterboarded.

Not sure how they keep getting passes to do what they do here ? I guess one person buys a single family house , have multiple families living there in shifts. Once the delinquent property taxes are posted in our local paper , 90% are Hispanics.
My take is the town or county look the other way. May be orders from the Feds ?

I had a Hispanic woman adopt my home address. I guess she needed a physical address , so she used mine. I started getting her gynecologist bills, notices for non payments of her bills , letters from all over Mexico. I had to hunt her down at our local Tyson plant. That helped for a few months, but started again. I finally got the local popo involved , they did nothing. The final straw was I started getting mail from a prison in New Mexico , and one day I got a box of his belongings when they deported.
Her whole family showed up looking for it. I told her i turned it over to ICE and Postal Inspectors. So far nothing else. 🤬

No thanks to Tulsa. That's tornado alley.

I can tell you how it works (or worked), because it's extremely simple.

They have a stolen identity, they buy a home using said stolen identity. Then X families will live in that home without paying a single mortgage payment for however long it takes the bank to foreclose on the home -- typically around a year or so. They can really drag it out by running it through arbitration, making a payment to delay a process, etc. Then, of course, you have COVID now so they basically can't be evicted.

Same thing with property taxes. Sure, the government will seize the property but they won't do that for years -- so what ends up happening is the bank eats everything.

When they do finally leave the property they'll take the appliances, rip out the copper, and take the AC compressor/furnace.

I don't think that really happens as much anymore. Not sure how they catch them but I think it's just harder to steal an identity these days. From 2k to 2010ish this was a huge problem, though.

When I tracked the woman to the closest Tysons , they wouldn’t confirm or deny she worked there. The mail stopped for a minute, then started back. A house on my block was a temporary housing paid for via Tysons. I counted 14 in a 2 BR 1 bath 1000 sq ft house. Think she was one of them , and liked my house ? 🤬 Way things are going , she may run me out ?
I’m glad I ONLY soon to be deported prisoners belongings instead a kilo of meth 🙈

Forget calling the local cops, contact the INS and Border Patrol about the house and the link to Tysons.. That might get some traction.

I’m thinking after I contacted Tysons headquarters and mentioned I was in touch with ICE and the Postal Inspectors , her local boss probably told her to stop using my address ? So far so good. Border Patrol is aware that most of the local Hispanics are illegal , but nothing is ever done. Why build a wall when they are already shopping at Walmart ? We know the answer 😖

Everyone knows Winchester is between McNutt and Lucerne. OK, I admit I had to look it up too.

You definitely should not call DHS and report a child in unhealthy living conditions and/or abusive/drug environment. That'd be like kicking a hornets nest, so definitely don't do that.

Not saying I'd want to live there, just surprising given the size of the city. It's not all dirt roads and tumbleweeds. They have strip malls too.
Have a nephew that lives there and loves it ??
The big Wanamaker gun shows there used to be a “2 day to get through once” deal.
Glad I saw the future ammo wise there 👍
Most of the South can be tornado alley , seen the before and afters of some bad ones in Arkansas. Maybe I-40’s fault 🤨 Humidity and bugs are the 👎
