Inside of the "V-block" area, cut (4) 1.750"X.250" brass shims, 45* chamfer for .250 on both sides, drill .275 clearance holes centered.

Also, i left handle design open,

what I'm running is a 1" ODX12"long piece of finished roundstock, threaded 3/4X10 at a length of .500(min)
