After Michelle Obama's former aide's urging, prosecutor pushed for FBI to investigate Smollett

At the time of the correspondence, Smollett was still considered by police as a victim of an assault. The actor was later charged with allegedly staging an attack to make him look like the victim of a brutal hate crime.

Here's my take.
Since the FBI does handle hate crimes and they can be considered federal considering the magnitude of the offense(s) they should take the case.
Take the case and reverse role it right into that assholes lap, then the magnitude of this will sink in.
This whole shit storm didn't hurt the alphabet community, no it turned the focus on white conservative Americans.

In my local we had a high profile "hate crime"

Family found "N" word painted on their house. Stated it was because they were mixed race couple. Probably due to son being bullied on his footbal team. Mom said it was members of team likely.

In Deval Patrics MA the FBI was dispatched to investigate.

Footbal team was tried by the public, had their last game - Thanksgiving Day - forfeited, senior class never got to play ball again. "Targeted" kid got transferred to another local school.

Why was paint only on the easy to clean concrete foundation?
Why were spray can found in family burn pit?


Mom (white part of mixed race relationship) ended up admitting to doing it so son could play on Football team of school he was now attending.

No charges to Mom, No apologies to kids of other team that were publicly made guilty, kid got to remain on team that Mom wanted him to be on.
