Started reloading 308, 223, and 204 Ruger January this year after alot of reading and asking questions. Just purchased a Savage in .260 Remington currently loading some Lapua brass with some berger and sierra bullets. Have alot of 308 Brass, plan to anneal it and neck it down ( is it necessary to anneal?). From what i have read it will require neck turning. If the neck OD is formed by the die (leaving the ball sizer out) wouldnt it be better to ream the id of the case ? Turning the neck seams like it would create a sharp tool mark at the transition I am a rookie at this
