I'm looking into a hunting load but I cannot find any load data for the bullet and caliber. How would you start the load and make sure it's safe? For reference it's a 6 creedmoor with nosler 100gr partition and h4350 or superperformance powder.

What acourvil said. To add to that, there are many other bullets in that range which will help you zero in on a start charge. From personal experience, ive found that flat base bullets create a bit more pressure than a boat tail bullet of the same weight. I chalk it up to the flat base obturating/gas sealing better than the boat tail. Bearing surface differences will also play a part.

Flat base bullets have more bearing area than a boattail of the same weight. One of the ways you can get started is to look at a similar cartridge in bullet diameter and case capacity, and then safely back it down. 6mm Creedmoor is basically an updated version of .243 Winchester that has existed for many decades and for which there are a zillion hunting loads.

Nosler has .243 reloading data on their web site. Look up your bullet (it's listed), load a pressure test with a starting load a little lower than what they publish and work up from there. After establishing your maximum pressure, back off from there and do your accuracy test. I suggest learning about Dan Newberry's OCW test for finding a good load.
