I watched a short video on the Forster datum dial kit and it looks like a good setup. If anyone has used or seen one please let me know what you thought of it.
It is a great setup I really like mine. The best thing I did to enhance it was to buy an additional body so I can have one ready for measuring off the datum/shoulder line and one for measuring off the ogive. No screwing on and off to switch between the two.
Yes. The datums are machined more precisely and provide more accurate and consistent measurements. Also, a single datum dial can be used for multiple calibers.
For those who might not already be aware, the Redding Instant Indicator does not need to be used with a press. It can be used as a hand tool; in conjunction with a granite surface plate or with their new "range adaptor."

By chance, what are the specs of your granite block or where did you get it? Is it a check stand block? Did you go Grade A, B, etc., or am I overthinking this?

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about getting a second body as well to save having to do the set up each time I wanted to switch.
Is there room in the box for both bodies with wheels attached when not in use?
