I'm getting the impression that forster dies are too long for other presses like my Dillon 550. Is this a pattern?
Tried FLZ some 308 in the Dillon from an Ar10 that might swallow a no go gauge (it will only see its own brass bumped back slightly). It took some fiddling and some popping and 2 or more presses with more lube in between (wax) but I finally got through it with most bumped back and some 0.005" shorter than goal. ZQI MKE junk brass. HARD STUFF. Had to measure every piece.

Switched to hornady brass from a tight chambered jp and just couldn't get it bumped consistently. Heavy camming. Some popping too. Took the same die and brass to the forster and ran through it smooth as butter with no change except collar location and no additional lube.
