Great town, I visit it about once a year. If you like beer, micro brew capital of the Rockies. New Belgian Brewing, Ft Collins Brewing Company, Coopersmiths, and Odell's are right around old town. Also over in Longmont you got Left Hand Brewing.

Currently living here, CSU student. Nice town, hard job market because everyone wants to live here and the people who do don't want to give them up/move. All students have to plan on moving away post school.
Good culture especially if you're a hard-core beer fan. Not much in way of fine dining but lots of unique restaurants mostly geared towards students. Lots of parks and family oriented stuff to do. Lots of close fishing. Shooting sucks as you have to drive 45 mins to the nearest public land. I was lucky enough to get onto some private stuff though.
