I'm finally in the position to get a decent safe and have narrowed it down to the Defender 6026, Amsec BF6032, and Sturdy 2723. The spot where the safe is going isn't allowing for much room so that's why I'm looking at these sizes. Are there any other safes I'm missing? My price limit is about 2-2.5k.

The fort Knox uses drywall for fire insulation which leaves a lot to be desired. I would flip a coin between the AMSEC and the Sturdy. My money went to a AMSEC BF6030. Check out thesafeplace.com very good deals.

Ya I was talking to my local dealer again today and he can do the BF6032 for 200 cheaper than anyone else I've found so I may pull the trigger on it. Thanks for the input.
