I am helping a friend put together a hunting rifle so accuracy is Important (hunting accurate) and no need to overspend on components that will not be necessary to accomplish the hunting mission.
I am looking to acquire a REM 700 .308 Short Action Barreled Action -> something close to the following:
* Remington 700 .308 Barreled Action in excellent condition
* Need the BDL type set-up
* Barrel -> 20” - 22” preferred (nothing too long) in a medium heavy type profile - low round count preferred
* Decent trigger at a minimum and excellent trigger is better
* Would consider - Rem 700 SPS AAC-SD .308
