Foundation Stock - Scope Height

I just picked up a used Foundation Genesis and dropped my Bighorn TL3 into it. With my current setup, I can't get the cheek piece high enough to line up <my eye> with the center of the scope. I have the e-clip on the lowest notch on the post of the cheek piece. I have no issue with this with the same barreled action (and mounts/rings/scope) in my JAE-700.

What I have:
Bighorn TL3 with a 20MOA base
Weaver rings (30mm tube, 0.37in to bottom of tube.....0.96in from base to center of tube.)
Leupold VX3i scope

I was considering purchasing a Spuhr mount for this rifle, but the lowest on they make is 1.18" base to center of tube....even higher than the current setup.
I have a fairly skinny build and face, but even if I start at my jaw line and drag my face down until my cheek bone is on the cheek piece I'm still low.

I did a quick search online and all the pictures that I see no one running a Foundation stock has an additional cheek pad on top of the cheek piece, but they're running much bigger scopes and subsequently taller rings than I am.

What am I missing?

I’ve never used the c-clip on any of my adjustable KMW type combs...just tighten/clamp it where you need it.

why do you want the top of the cheek piece lined up with the center of the scope? that's a mile in the air

@b6graham I was implying I am unable to line up my eye up with the center of the scope - not the cheek piece itself. Now you can sleep easy tonight knowing that you corrected my grammar through hyperbole

Are you saying
A. You have the clamp bar adjusted as high as it will go and you are still looking under the scope?
or
B. The clamp bar is all the way down, and you are still looking over the scope?

I'm guessing you mean A...and if so, I'm not sure what to tell you. I've got a Spuhr (1.18") on a 30moa rail on my Genesis and I am roughly midway up on my cheek pad (maybe a little less). Pics might help

b) There are cheek pad offerings, such as Wiebad. I personally like it more for the difference in surface material (especially when sweat/moisture are accounted for) vs the added height. But it would add some height none the less.

how far off are you? 1/4" or 3/4"?

Curious if it's a shape thing as the JAE is tall and skinny compared to a foundation cheek which is much wider/round.

have you compared the heights of the two stocks in relation to action/scope?

The columns are a direct swap out for the OEM columns and the whole thing takes about 90 seconds to do.

A bunch of stocks out there are still hanging around older designs that have pretty low combs. That combined with the larger scopes and mount systems makes for a lot of height to make up especially with certain face structures so we sell a ton of these.

You must have really skinny cheeks if your rings are .96” with a 30mm tube and can’t get the rest high enough.

I run a 4001 and have more than enough adjustment left, with or without the Wiebad.

Maybe you can post a pic of the setup/you on the gun. Shouldn't be having trouble with that combo at that height. I am running a foundation genesis, impact action w/20 moa rail, rrs 20moa mount and a zco 527 that has a 36mm tube. The rrs height is 1.26". I have the cheekpiece on the highest setting and my eye lines up perfectly, and is with the 40 moa total of cant. Where on your face are you establishing cheek weld?

@Terry Cross I got the taller posts installed.....Problem Solved. I just needed the tiniest bit more height and that did it for me.
This is a great product. Now that I've used it I think I might have my FN-SPR A5 stock modified to use that as well, instead of the saddle cheek piece.
