Foundation Stock touch up

That having been said, why not just run it? If you're actually using the rifle, it'll earn character scratches and wear on it's own over time anyway, there's really no way to avoid it unless you're only ever running Benchrest or F-class stuff. PRS matches and similar will have you hitting ladders, barricades, rocks, etc. But maybe that's just me. I take care of my gear, but I also use it and expect it to wear over time.

Micarta is supposed to be really easy to touch up. I think foundation even says so on their website.

Have you tried cleaning it with soap and water? That is the cleaning standard for Micarta handled knives.

That's what I would do if I suffered from obsessive CDO.
I like a bit of use showing unless it's my BR rifle.
i'd probably grab a small stain pen from lowe's or home depot. let it dry and then finish with some satin polyurethane.
Just got off the phone with John Kyle at Foundation Stocks where I inquired about touching up a couple areas. Without hesitation, he asked that I box up and ship my stock back to him and he would touch me up as needed. Class act IMHO. So boxing up now to send in. Thanks for all the replies.
