Ashbury Precision Ordnance is offering the four test rifles built for the US Army M40E1 trials. These are complete kits, rifle, day optic, suppressor, hard cases, etc. For detailed information, send me a PM or email and I'll get you a PDF file that outlines the complete system.

Please note, there are only four of these systems, first come, first served.

I've sent you each the PDF brochure on the kit details. Starting price is $20K, but it's not just a rifle, it's a complete Army sniper issue system, scope, suppressor, bipod, hard cases, etc.

Is it just me or does $20K sound centirely too expensive?
start with a $5K rifle and throw in $1.5K for an interchangeable barrel for an alternative caliber, add $3K for optics and accessories, add another $2K for a suppressor even $1k for a case and you still are a long way from a $20k "starting point".

    Am I missing something?

You're valuing the rifle low and you forgot the $5k of collectors value

jason,...just like the AIAW's in the CES kits, everything is extra,..rails, mags, cleaning kit, NV rail, sling. It all mounts up and suddenly you have an expensive price tag!

Don't forget its a actual Ashbury Built Rifle....according to the price sheet I have the price starts at $9,375 for just the RIFLE.
